When the heck are we going to quit reacting as leaders and get out in front of problems!!
I went back and did a count of all the training engagements I've done in the last 16 years . I've done 328 of them. Only 3 were in anticipation of a problem. The rest in response to a problem and/or a need.
I'm grateful...... I'm appreciative of the work........ and I like what I do
But I have to say, as the leaders we purport to be, we stink!!! Our role HAS to be more than holding the fort- or responding to events. It is being out in front and paving the way- anticipating opportunities- building things to be better.
We have an opportunity now as we are in the front end of huge opportunities in Supply Chain and Logistics. How many of you are ready for it?
