BE APPRECIATIVE OF WHAT YOU HAVE

I got a first hand reminder of this after I dropped my wife off at work this morning. I turn the corner and here is a mother with a suitcase and two little children in tow. They're bundled up and it's cold outside and it was snowing this morning. This could have been a parent taking their children somewhere on a trip. But it easily could have been, and I suspect so, a single mother who may be homeless and is just leaving the shelter that was two buildings down.

It tears me up to see this.

  1. I look back sitting here and have many thoughts

  2. Should I have stopped and done something?

  3. Am I making a mountain out of a mole hill?

  4. or what?

I DO know it made me realize we're all one step away from disaster and that we need to be appreciative of what we have.

I know this is a bit out of the realm of supply chain, but that moment this morning shook me up
